Recorded and released in 1999, "New Generation Pipa" established Lulu as a fresh force in the interpretation and performance of the instrument. The 11 tracks run the gamut from established classics like "Romance by the Moonlit River" and "The Defeat of Xiang Yu," to Lulu's own arrangement of popular Western songs "La Vie En Rose" and "Danny Boy."

Lulu is currently preparing material for her next collection, expected in 2009.
